Dress like a supermodel with the Claudia Schiffer's Spring Collection

If you love cashmere you might want to check out Claudia Schiffer's spring 2012 cashmere collection.

NET-A-PORTER.COM, the online luxury retailer, announced the launch of the Claudia Schiffer Spring/ summer 2012 collection.

Her own label has been launched since last year at Paris Couture Week after she teamed up with fellow German designer Iris Von Arnim. This year the ex-supermodel has evolved her 30-piece collection of knitwear for the summer months.

The newest spring collection features super-soft separates like plaid linen-blend and crochet dresses, silk-blend wide-striped maxi-dresses, and broderie anglaise tops - they're very 1960s-influenced, a little vintage-y, but modern at the same time.

“It’s very soft and not too warm to wear, as cashmere allows your skin to breathe. I also played with styles that hang from the body, to allow movement and comfort in the warmer weather”, she explained.

Including cardigans, dresses, sweaters, and a cape in mainly beiges, greys, and dark blues, the collection is priced from £295 to £435 (around $483 to $713).

Her muse for this collection was Jane Birkin and she imagined what she would wear in different locations around the world - Paris, Ibiza, and London.

Claudia’s favourite piece from the collection is the multi-colour gypsy dress.
