GERMAN KARNEVAL 2012 Event date:2012-02-24

Besides the well-known Oktoberfest, Karneval is the second largest cultural festival in Germany. The Karneval festive season begins on November 11 at 11:11am and runs through until the end of February or beginning of March. For many, it is the European equivalent to the 'Mardi Gras' carnival as it strongly relies on public celebration, street parties, parades and vibrant masquerade costumes.
To get into the spirit, guests will enjoy the sounds of traditional German Karneval music played by the well-known DJ Ronaldo.
Additionally, traditional German food will be served. Whether it may be a colourful clown or a mischievous detective outfit, attendees are reminded to wear their best fancy costume to help create a whimsical atmosphere.
