Nightlife in UAE

Dubai/Abu Dhabi Night Life

What is night life like in places like Dubai and Abu Dhabi during the regular days? The nightlife in Dubai is active, growing and noisy. Get up late so you can enjoy all the night fun this city has to offer. Nightlife bustles among the expats after work hours. An all-nighter would mean dinner followed by all-out fun, bonding with friends and colleagues or with a date until about 1:00 am or 2:00 am during which all the bars and clubs in town close. Dubai has much glitter to offer with all the bars and all the clubs to choose from, from the plush restaurants and bars to the more affordable ones.

Big name DJs are being attracted to Dubai, as a Western-style clubbing scene starts to develop.

. Many people from Ministry sound, and for example MTV Mash have been here with many successful gigs. The house music culture in Dubai is on the increase, due to the greater influx of tourists. Dubai's clubbing scene is on the up and only set to get bigger and remain classy way to enjoy yourself. The rest of the night may be spent club or bar hopping if the next day is not a business day. There are great varieties of places to go to. Consider the Buddha Bar or the Club Zinc, the 400 Club, the Roberto Cavalli Bar, or whichever among the wide selections in the area.

Abu Dhabi also offers a good night life but not as much as what is offered in Dubai. This emirate offers wide choices of quiet nights or scintillating night depending on one's chosen destination.

Most of the bars, clubs and pubs frequented by tourists and expats in Abu Dhabi are situated in four-star hotels and in five-star hotels. Sheraton Hotel, for one, has the Zenith Club which is known for its distinctive crowd and quality entertainment. Rock bands and jazz performances sizzle in bars and clubs located in the hotels. There are also coffee shops and discos. A cool option is to step into a Mexican pub or to walk into a sophisticated British cocktail lounge. The choices are great so, depending on one's taste and moods, he or she can while the night away and soothe tired nerves in Abu Dhabi's night places.

Other Emirate States

Life in the UAE, whether in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, has much to offer by day and by night. The other emirates-Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ajman-offer distinct lifestyles less cosmopolitan than what is offered in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

In these other emirates, there are fewer foreigners and those who choose to work or do business in those areas tend to have more interaction with the natives. There is thus greater exposure to local culture and greater integration among the Emirati people. Night life in the other emirates is less sophisticated but there are opportunities for the more adventurous in spirit. There are even more opportunities for those genuinely interested in the UAE's cultural legacy and building bonds with the UAE's common people.
